Rhode Island Nutritionists
Dr. Richard Picard
A second component to my practice philosophy is nutrition. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself when given the proper care including fresh water, rest, organic food, body work, exercise and proper nutritional supplements. It is important to realize that everyone possesses a uniqueness called biochemical individuality. What this means is that everyone's internal biochemistry is different and thus what we put into our bodies should also be different. Remember, just because you've heard something is good for you doesn't mean you actually need it. The only true way to determine whether or not you need something is to discuss it with a health care professional knowledgeable in nutrition.
